Here are some pictures from the food showcase organised by the Brustralia I took part in today. Seriously, my Casio digital cam works so much better in the outdoors!

Orange Cranberry Macadamia Cookies. (I buy all my nuts pre-shelled and macadamias are amongst one of the toughest nuts to crack!)




Hazelnut Overload Cookies. (These are made with hazelnuts I pound with a pestle and mortar and sandwiched with a Nutella and bitter chocolate ganache).



Dark Sin Cookies (made from 3 kinds of premium chocolate and spiked with cayenne pepper).

Seriously Cake

After a long break of not doing cake (2 years), I finally returned to doing them. Nope, these aren't currently for sale as I'm currently am experimenting with flavours and hoping to come up with a menu list in the near future. Also, my cake decorating skills (or lack of) still leaves much to be desired. But what it lacks in looks, it makes up in taste. I'm not a big fan of the cakes you get in the bakeries outside - (calling a cake tiramisu when it isn't gets my goat each time!)
